It is important that we take time out of our day to ground our energy.
Find something that can bring us to the present moment, where we can feel love, peace, grounded and calm.
I can literally see when someone is stressed because of their aura. Being in that state does not promote health, it promotes dis-ease.
You can ground by taking a walk in nature, being with a loved one, doing breathing exercises, or physical exercises like yoga or tia chi. Even journaling to reflect on your day can be grounding. Sip a tea and read a great book. Take an aromatherapy bath with candles.
Meditation comes in many forms, it doesn’t have to be complex. Direct your focus to the now, let go of the worry about your past and the fear of the future. You can be a master of your thoughts and emotions. Practise visualizing a calming scene. Maybe, listen to music or sounds that create a sense of peace. It is important to close your eyes and pay attention to what you are feeling in your body. Is there tension and tightness? Expand your breath there to dissolve it. The more you practise calm and centred the easier it will be to feel that. You want to practise it enough that you create a new habit, and that habit will become your new natural way of being. This will override the stress.
My favourite grounding technique is my dog. When I am with her I am in the present moment enjoying her company.
I am focusing on her needs and surrounding myself with her loving engery.
I bring myself back to earth. All of my worries disappear with a simple kiss or snuggle.
Animals are great for grounding and reminding you that everything will be okay.
You are so loved by your animals and they need you as much as you need them.
The bond between a human and a dog is so strong.
